Job Summary

Supporting accountant manager by processing accounting transactions, under direction of manager.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts receivable, including billing and collections
  • Manage accounts payable, performing weekly check runs
  • Prepare account reconciliations and bank account reconciliations
  • Prepare various required construction reports for Project Managers
  • Communicate with project personnel and external vendors for company project related questions and requests

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor degree in accounting preferred
    • Prior accounting experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor degree
  • Experience: At least two to five years experience in accounting
  • Must have considerable knowledge of basic accounting principles (i.e. journal entries, debits, credits, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to accurately work under pressure in meeting deadlines
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge of computer use, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks preferred
  • Bilingual a plus
